Fandango (Herb Alpert album). 1982 studio album by Herb Alpert. Released 20 years after the Latin-inspired "The Lonely Bull", this album marks a return to a Hispanic sound. Alpert had wanted to do something to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his first hit, so he traveled to Mexico and made a recording intended solely for the Latin-American market. However, his interest was kindled by the diversity and quality of the local musicians, and he decided to record an entire album there.

This album is for yo. Herb Alpert. Thanks to Abraham Laboriel for introducing me to a wonderful new friend and fabulous producer, José Quintana. Matrix, Runout (Label, Side 1): (SP-03731-A). Matrix, Runout (Label, Side 2): (SP-03731-B). Fandango ‎(LP, Album).

Going Places (stylized as !!Going Places!!) is the fifth album by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass and, along with their prior album, Whipped Cream and Other Delights, is one of their most popular releases. It was released by A&M Records on all formats: LP, 8-track, cassette, open reel and eventually CD, and was reissued in 2005 by the Shout!Factory label as part of the Herb Alpert Signature Series.
