Shame is a 2009 compilation album of various earlier albums, EPs, and singles by the Sacramento hardcore punk band Trash Talk released specifically for release in United Kingdom. It collates onto two discs their 2006 debut full-length Walking Disease, their 2007 Plagues EP, their eponymous 2008 sophomore full-length, and their 2009 East of Eden single, featuring Keith Morris of The Circle Jerks and formerly Black Flag.
During their touring, Trash Talk participated in a live session for British radio station BBC Radio 1 showcasing songs from their latest album Eyes & Nines, released physically in Europe and digitally throughout on May 17, 2010. The album came out on CD in the United States on June 8, 2010 with the vinyl releasing on June 21, 2010. In October 2010, Trash Talk first appeared on the cover of The FADER, in its 70th issue. Trash Talk performed at the 2011 Soundwave Festival in February/March 2011. Trash Talk were added to the 2011 lineups of Download in June and Hevy. Trash Talk are four-piece a hardcore punk band from Sacramento, California that formed in 2005. The band consists of lead vocalist Lee Spielman, guitarist Garrett Stevenson, bassist Spencer Pollard, and drummer Thomas Pridgen. If you ever need something heavy, fast paced, and fun to listen to to, these guys are the right choice. Trash Talk (although they were fairly well-known in the hardcore community prior to this) gained a lot of recognition after signing to the Odd Future record label. Live At United Blood (2008).

Trash Talk are the next great hope, poised to become the next chapter in essential fast punk/hardcore. They smashed into the scene with a seven song demo cassette, released on the Sell Our Souls label from Spain in 2005. In 2006, the band released theirdebut 7"EP on the same label, as well as a split 7"EP with Steel Trap on the Spiderghost Pressgang label. In early 2007, Trash Talk blew minds with the release of their "Walking Disease" 7"EP/CDEP on the Rumble and Six Feet Under labels . Trash Talk will also release their highly anticipated full length on Malfunction later in 2008.
