I really like the ''Matrix'' track, it starts off dark but bouncey, then it gets that cheesy scottish synth that can be heard from the likes of Scooter and Ultrasonic and then... it all becomes very Gabber, like Hardliners or Neophyte at around the 02:10 mark but with wierd vocals mixed in, This should of been played by Easygroove or Clarkee back in the day... :(''Emulator'' has a continuous Gabber influence from start to end, but the bass line is more like what you would expect from the Smooth label and its ''Fast floor releases''Side B sounds almost as if it were produced by a different person, No Gabber influences at all, it is all very much like UK breakbeat and early Hardcore. (!)''Won't stop rockin'' is very much like what many UK rave records were like in 1992, like Bizarre Inc. or Praga kahn without pianos.''Land of XTC'' is the better of the two B-sides, not quite house, not quite hardcore, sounds closer to eurohouse. it also has that classic hissing you get from Amiga protracker/octamed productions, could bring tears to amiga sound lovers everywhereThis is a great record with a mix of different styles, and it never gets mentioned much so I had to post a review after buying it in a charity shop second hand and realising how really quite awesome it is.
