The latest Neil Young live archival release, 'Tuscaloosa' features highlights from the legendary musician's February 5, 1973 show with The Stray Gators. Don't Be Denied" is the 11-track LP's first single. Young’s latest vault release contains five songs from his landmark 1972 studio album Harvest. Fittingly, the song Alabama made it on to Tuscaloosa. Alabama would disappear from Neil Young’s repertoire until 2015 following the early-1973 tour outside of a lone performance in 1977 as per Sugar Mountain.

Did I see you down In a young girl's town With your mother in so much pain? I was almost there At the top of the stairs With her screamin' in the rain Did she wake you up To tell you that It was only a change of plan? Dream up, dream up Let me fill your cup With the promise of a man Did I see you walking with the boys Though it was not hand in hand? And was some black face In a lonely place When you could understand? Did she wake you up To tell you that It was only a change of plan? Dream up, dream up Let me fill your cup With the promise of a man Will I see you give.
Neil Young's muse has led him to release some curious albums over the course of his five-decade career, but he has a more contentious relationship with 1973's Time Fades Away than any other title in his catalog. Time Fades Away was a live LP assembled from several shows on his early 1973 tour following the breakout success of Harvest, which he undertook shortly after the death of Crazy Horse guitarist Danny Whitten
