The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II is a real-time strategy video game developed and published by Electronic Arts. It is based on the fantasy novels The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit by J. R. Tolkien and its live-action film trilogy adaptation. It is the sequel to Electronic Arts' 2004 title The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth. The Windows version of the game was released on March 2, 2006 and the Xbox 360 version was released on July 5, 2006

The second part in the Battle for Middle-earth series, The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II (abbreviated BFME 2), is a real-time strategy game just like its prequel.

it is the best album I had ever heard thank you for this.

The Battle for Middle-earth is a real-time strategy game. Warring factions gather resources, then use them to construct military bases and armies on-site. In The Battle for Middle-earth, buildings may only be constructed on the building slots of predefined plots. The critical response to The Battle for Middle-earth was fairly positive. IGN praised the game for its visual flair and impressive audio, but pointed out its lack of depth in gameplay, giving out a score of . to the "decent, if not spectacular, game.
